Surrey Heath Borough Council are in the process of producing a new Local Plan to replace their 2000 Local Plan. The Council announced on the 14th March 2022 that they will be undertaking a consultation on the Draft Surrey Heath Local Plan: Preferred Options (2019-2038) and supporting documents known as the Regulation 18 Consultation.
The plan will set out the Council’s preferred planning policies to guide the amount and location of new homes and employment development up to 2030, and covers matters including the Green Belt, design and heritage, climate change and biodiversity.
This consultation will be open between the 14th March 2022 and the 9th May 2022 and includes the following documents:
- Draft Surrey Heath Local Plan: Preferred Options (2019-2038)
- Mapping Booklet
- Interim Sustainability Appraisal, and
- Non-Technical Summary of the Sustainability Appraisal
